The Plumtree School Association was created to preserve the
School House and property in its original form, circa 1860.

The Association is composed of a 9 member board of directors
and is a non-profit corporation registered with the state of
Connecticut.

The Town of Bethel has granted an Historic Easement to the
association which charges the association with overseeing the
preservation of the school building, contents and grounds.
